Cute Girls Bike Club

A few years ago a friend discovered this dialogue (for lack of a better word to describe it) called Girls Bike Club. There ended up being many GBC entries, but GBCII was my favorite, I don't know why it cracked us up so much, but it did/does. Last Saturday a couple of my neighbors (Kat & Luisa), Amy and I had our inaugural run of The Cute Girls Bike Club. The Long Beach Grand Prix was in town and we thought it would be the perfect time for us girls to venture to the Downtown area on our bicycles. We arrived at The House of Hayden (the best bar in Long Beach, but don't tell anyone!) for a cocktail to celebrate our inaugural ride. I believe that was some time around 4:00 in the afternoon. Amy was the first Cute Girl to leave the party, she had a previous engagement that she could not get out of. Luisa followed a couple of hours later, but not before several visits from some, um, very entertaining characters. It was just Kat and I left drinking chocolate martinis, having to lock our bikes up in the back of the bar (thank you Dave) and take a cab home around 11:30. Needless to say, our inaugural bike run was a HUGE success and we are already planning our next run!

I LOVE this!!

I had sooooo much fun - and I am definitely game for our second CGBC event whenever you are. (Maybe this time we should take a cab though, since we know there is no way we are leaving before dark!)

Lots of love from your fellow CGBC-er,
Kat
