Christmas Time is Here

This is such a busy time of the year, and also one of my favorite times of the year. I love all the festivities, making my famous scrumptiously delicious fudge to give away, all the decorations & lights, the holiday spirit you can feel in the air. As a little girl I thought this time of the year was so magical and I suppose in a way I still do, I still get excited when A Charlie Brown Christmas and Rudolph are on TV.

Last Saturday was The Belmont Shore Christmas Parade. I was very ambitious and invited our families and a few select friends over to enjoy a pre-parade holiday party before heading down to our staked out spot on the parade route. I had always wanted to do this, but my place is so tiny I didn't think I had the room. I am very happy I decided to have the gathering, everyone had a lot of fun and it was a great way to kick off the holiday season! I tried to make it a festive evening, I handed out Christmas Trivia questions to answer, had lots of food, gave away holiday crackers to my guest (the kind with prizes inside, not the kind to eat) and of course I made my first batch of scrumptiously delicious fudge, of which was nearly completely devoured! I was hoping to spread some Christmas magic and I am pretty sure it worked.
