The View Up Here

My current favorite shoes are 5 inch wood bottom platforms from Jeffrey Campbell Shoes, that I affectionately call, "My Big Girl Shoes". They are the highest, tallest shoes I have ever worn and I wear them well, I can even run in them! The strange thing about wearing these shoes is the different view I have on everything being 5 inches taller up, the air is different up there. Counter tops are lower in the kitchen, the mirrors are lower in the bathroom and I have to move the seat back when I drive wearing them... But as much as I love my big girl shoes, I don't wish to be 5'7", I like my world down here where I am only 5'2" and have to stand on my tippy toes to see myself in the bathroom mirror. I like being closer to earth rather than up in the clouds...
